Friday was a beautiful sunny day at Green Meadows Farm. The children enjoyed seeing the animal displays including milking cows, a pig race, a sow and baby piglets, lamas, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, a mule, horses, lop-eared rabbits, peeps, ducks, geese, and turkeys.
Our children, parents, and staff enjoyed a hay ride and the pumpkin patch. Much fun was had by all.
A big thank you goes out to parents and staff who supported this farm life experience for the children.
We are happy to report that "Back to School" night was a great success! Thank you, parents, children, friends, and staff who joined together to make this a good experience for everyone.
On Friday, October 2nd, we will be going to Green Meadow Farm in Jessup, Maryland, where our children will experience life on the farm. We will be reading farm stories and talking about life on the farm all week in preparation for our farm trip. At the farm, the children will see many farm animals and each child will select a pumpkin to take home. Thank you, parents, and friends, in advance, for all your support in this farm adventure.
My Village Learning Center is closed today due to snow conditions and following the lead of the Baltimore City School System. When Baltimore City Schools are closed, so are we. Have a good and safe day.
